Day 1- Just a Bunch of Hocus Pocus

On Halloween, Alexis Warren (12) dressed up as Lydia Deetz, a character in the movie Beetlejuice. Warren said, “I love Beetlejuice, and I thought it was cute that my mom also had the dress in her closet already.”
Day 2- BBQ Dad vs. Soccer Mom

Alexa Delgado (12), Angel Noriega (12), and Eva Carbonara (12) watch the games at the Senior Social. “The only reason I did it was because I wanted to be the best soccer mom there. I had to beat everyone else’s outfit,” said Noriega.
Day 3- Dress as Your Type

Ashlyn Young (12), Tara Fenelon (12), Isabel D’Onofrio (12), and Ilani Mietlicki (11) dress as guys in their classic boy poses. “I dressed as a boy who listens to Steve Lacy,” D’Onofrio replied. “I envisioned my outfit to be as realistic as possible and I loved seeing all my friend’s interpretations too!”
Day 4- Throwback Thursday

In class, Gianna Schwendel (11), Kayla Ferguson (11), Jordyn Minnis (11), and Maya Merskin (11) represent four contrasting decades, the 1970s, 1770s, 1980s, and the 1920s. Merskin said, “I chose the Roaring ’20s because I believed that nobody else was going to do it. I thought it was fun while at the same time suiting my personality. “
Day 5- Battle of the Kingdoms

While wearing red to show their class of 2025 spirit, Isabella Fontalvo (10), Natalie Obando (10), Noura Attah (10), and Samantha Price (10) sign out their graduation year. Fontalvo said, “Last year, it was my freshman year, and I really didn’t participate. As a sophomore, I feel more comfortable at the school and feel more included.”

All decked out in blue, the juniors wait for the pep rally to begin while they pump each other up. “After about the second or third picture, we wanted to mess around and make it funny,” said Kaya Zeeler (11). “And, we were motivated by the lack of spirit last year; nobody really dressed up. We figured we might as well make the most of it.”

Class of 2023, FLHS’s senior class, celebrate their first pep rally of the school year. Jessica Price (12) said, “I really loved finally being able to sit on the senior side of the bleachers. I had so much fun, especially being with all of my friends to make great memories.”
